“The more we give the more we get”… what does this statement mean?

Is it true that when I give money to other people I will get  more money in return, well to see if it works you might want to try…and see the results , Maybe you will lose more than what you have given.

Everything we see, understand and conceptualize are only half truths, and that’s why there are wars and conflicts everywhere, I can relate it to the analogy of two people looking on a vehicle tyre and one says, that tyre is black..and another replies no that tyre is rubber….

So now let’s go back to the power of giving, the statement is always true, it doesn’t seem true only because you have understood it in your way…

What is giving anyways?

To give means to present something as a gift, we use the word gift meaning not expecting anything in return, a mother would give her time and effort to nurture and protect her new baby without any obligation, which is the true meaning of giving. The world we live today the only entity that really gives is Nature.  Most of big Corporations and celebrities Give donations to charity.

So how do we get more as we give?

The statement didn’t say you get more of what you thought you gave but you actually get more of what you have given, the statement is a little confusing but I will try to explain in details, so let’s say I noticed a homeless  in the street and thought I should give them a little bit of money, which is a random act of ‘Good’!!, The laws of Universe always  respond the very instant you  acted this law of cause and effect is always in action, most of people learn the law of attraction but don’t seem to get it; so you wait for couple of days, nothing happens, you wait for weeks nothing comes back in return, then you start wondering how come I have been giving but nothing really happens?. In order to understand this there are couple of things we need to understand: there is a Defined Value, Use Value and a Real Value.

1. Defined Value, this is a value that has only been defined within a system, for example money;  money can only be valid where there are entities that can identify that value, if I go to a dog and give it a hundred dollar bill; it will probably tear it apart.
2. Use Value, can be anything just above the defined value, for example Before the English and French man migrated to North America, the Native American weren’t using money. So if I trade a Famous Mona Lisa painting with an animal skin, that is not a fair trade for the native American and I have wronged them because they have no use for that painting, but however if I trade a gun with an animal skin that is fair trade because with the gun they can hunt. So when giving it has to be something of a use value to another person.
3. Real Value, all these values differs in degree, there are higher values but we will conclude with the real value, above defined value and use value, the real value resides, there are things that you can’t trade for anything, for example money cannot buy happiness, no does gold or anything else, there are things that you have to work for  in order to acquire it, “You can’t hire someone to do pushups for you”,  when you pay a tuition fee for a specific program or coarse,  you won’t get it immediately after paying the price but after studying  and practice then you will acquire that knowledge, real friendship is not something that you can just pay someone to be your friend, it is something that you build with someone over a period of time, there are many examples, think of health, wealth, courage, love these are things that have real value and they can’t be traded for anything.

When it comes to the more you give the more you get ‘Real value’ plays a big role back to that homeless guy that you paid some spare change.. What you gave was only a defined value and you get what you give right away.. A thank you!.. however if you would have given a ‘Real value’  take time to talk to them and get to know them and what have brought them in that situation, you will get a story. Something to talk about and learn from…taking  it further maybe you could build friendship in return you get a friend….Most of people who give their time for others you will always notice that they have a wealth of friends and they are able to maintain good relationships with others because they give an actual value to others (their time), some marriages break because people don’t give their time to their spouses and family members. people get healthy because they give time to their bodies, they eat well, exercise get fresh air, whatever you give your attention energy flows, for everything needs attention to grow including yourself, so start giving and see how much you will get.

Is giving better than receiving?

The pioneer of Eco-technology Viktor Schauberger said when your look at nature, it gives and gives it doesn’t take, think about fruits, clean air, clean water, they are all given to us without any wanting anything back. So how is giving better than receiving, this can be summarized as the law of cause and effect, you get more by giving more, and you loose more by only taking.

What about wealth?

If you want to get more wealth you should give something of use value to the people around you and in return you get wealth, giving people money will return nothing because you have given something of Defined value…but when you “Give yourself”  to serve others/ your community that is a real value by offering what you have acquired either being knowledge, skill, talent etc… you will be  giving  a lot and in return you get a lot! I am going to give you an experiment, on Facebook when people write someone on their walls, Take time to read what they have  posted on their walls and  Give a honest  comment, do it for couple of people try doing it for couple of days and see what you get in return, people will also come back to you and comment to what you have in your profile… just
