‘The perfect job’
Doing work for the ‘passion’ of it is the most important reason to undertake the job. To have a specific goal which is positive and helps others is the wisest route to take. Uplifting others only comes back to you ten-fold, and increases your own peace and joy. Mother Theresa has a good quote related to doing this type of work: “There is always the danger that we may just do the work for the sake of the work. This is where the respect, and the love, and the devotion come in. That we do it to ‘God’… and that’s why we try to do it as beautifully as possible”. Even if your success comes in the form of a spiritual nature, instead of a material one- such as a high level of fame, or an exhorbitant amount of money- you can attain happiness on extreme levels-even higher ones in many ways. There are many stresses that come with commercial notoriety and success that may not add to one’s peace of mind. Having a daily connection to source without the ‘hustle and bustle’ of worldly fame will bring fulfillment on levels that truly feed your spirit. It will satisfy your hunger for love which we all crave more deeply than the hunger for money- if we are truly connected to source.
