How Does Mind Programming Works?
Whether you agree with me or not, mind programming is the process that happens almost every moment, think about it for a moment, When you are listening the radio, watching television, browsing the internet, driving to work or going to the gym, reading posters, advertisements, hanging out with a friend, the commercials, ads, the atmosphere of the place this includes smell, temperature etc, not forgetting the colors of the place. There are countless number of information going into your brain without you being aware of it
All these information gets stored in your brain without you even being aware of it, and therefore you get programmed into thinking in a certain way, for example say you have an idea and want to join your local gym, the moment you start thinking about that idea, your brain will automatically bring you whatever was stored in your brain, that you might have heard or read it somewhere earlier, either from television, radio, or you heard it from a friend etc, have you ever noticed a kid start doing some habits that other kids do?, or sometimes even if you are a non-smoker and stay with smokers you start smoking? If you stay with people who swears all the time, you automatically start swearing, not that I have given you some examples keep your eyes open and you will see what I mean, So it’s something that you cannot escape. But you can choose how to be programmed and get rid of the bad programs that stays at the back of your brain.
How To Program your Subconscious Mind
Programming your subconscious mind is actually easier that it sounds; you don’t really need a PhD in NLP programming or in psychology to start programming your own mind, we do the programing everyday and that has nothing to do with knowledge of skills we are just unaware. That being said let’s get down to the business.

Affirmations For Programming Your Subconscious Mind
Affirmations is one of the ways to program your subconscious mind, these are usually short statements that you say repeatedly so that they can be engraved in your subconscious mind, either to get rid of bad habits, deal with shyness etc.
In order for affirmations to work there is the right way to do it which is the rule of the thumb three things are important;
- As far as the law of Attraction is concerned the statements must be in a positive manner.
- Always and all the time your statements must be in a present tense, or present continuous tense. the only reason being your subconscious mind doen’t have the sence of time at all, so if you state your affirmations in future tense, that’s what will be impressed in your subconscious mind, and we all know tomorrow never comes.
- The Statement must always be in the personal manner, as it gives positive results in you more than in the second or third person.
- Also your statements must be in such a way that it’s already been accomplished, the main reason being your subconscious mind can’t tell the difference in time.
Example: So if you want to loose weight what you have to do is makes a stetement like this ” I AM SLIM”… not “I WILL LOOSE WEIGHT” or “I WILL NOT GAIN WEIGHT”… the wrong with the second statement is that your subconscious mind will take it as it’s something that is going to happen in the future and that’s all you will get..procrastination and remember when you say the word weight it impreses in your subconscious mind and as for visualization it will give you more weight than loosing weight, according to the law of attraction, and with the second statement your subconcious mind doesn’t understand the negative words it’s always give you what you impress upon it, that’s why it’s always important to do it in the possitive manner.
Programming Subconscious Mind Through Hypnosis and Self-hypnosis
Hypnosis can also be useful way to reprogram your subconscious mind, because you don’t really have to understand the science behind hypnosis for it to work for you as long as you believe it’s going to work, then it will work for you. Subconscious mind programming by Visualizations Techniques
Programming your subconscious mind by visualization works well when someone is in the deeper level of mind ( states of consciousness),
Mostly visualizations are very powerfull tool when it comes to mental programing, we do it all the time while day dreaming, even though some have higher notion of visualization than the others; the advantage with visualization is that you don’t have to apply any rules just imagine it and get it.
Steps to program your subconscious mind by visualization
In order to make visualizations more powerful just add more details in your visual images, the texture, smell, color, taste..etc.
And to even make it way way more powerfull you want to add some emotional in your visualizations. Have you ever noticed what fear does to a person, it makes a person do anything just because they are afraid, so when you add emotional attachements you get a positive results quickly.
Example: In case you want to loose weight, you have to visualize that you are slim, and feel your light weight, imagine yourself being comfortable with your body, running around the park and feel that light weight in you, feel your muscles moving, get emotionalize your visualization. The longer and consistently you do it, the faster you get the results.
[Note: most of the time when you do visualization, you will notice how you feel, for example if you are a woman and visualize yourself in the beach with bikini laying on the sand, you will notice some negative impression coming back on how you feel about yourself “that’s what stopping you to achieve your goals” so what you need to do is to ignore that feeling and strongly insist on that image of who you want to be than paying attention to for wherever you pay your attention to it grows if you fall back into your past emotions and memories then you will be looped back into your old habits.
